BUGS came to Kasaan Kennels in November 2004. She is the granddaughter of Bis Biss Ch. Nanuke's Revolutionary (Ben) AND Bis Biss Ch. Barrenfield's Major Knockout (K.O.)! Bugs was awarded RWB first time out (6.5 months) in the 6-9 puppy class in Feb 2005. Since then she has acquired 3 major reserves and a Best Junior Puppy at the Mideast Alaskan Malamute Specialty April 15, 2005. BUGS has superb Malamute type... gorgeous dark eyes and an incredible temperament. She is best buddies with POPPY, who is her kennel mate and running companion. We have great expectations for BUGS in and out of the show ring and feel she has a lot to offer our breeding program. We are pleased to announce that BUGS was awarded Winners Bitch AND Best of Winners at the Monroe K.C. Supported entry Sept 30, 2006 for a 5 pt major ! This completed her American championship and was the 1st homebred champion for PowerPaw Kennels. BUGS finished her title with 2 5 pt majors ( SPECIALTY wins) and was Best of Winners both times!!
Bugs is now ranked as one of the TOP winning Specials bitch for the 1st half of 2007!! She is a multi Best Of Breed winner, Group winner and Group placer!!
